BITHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Where do I even begin? I had the most amazing Birthday which led into the most amazing Birthday celebrations at Limes Hotel in the Fortitude Valley. This year it was important for me to celebrate in the company of not only my friends, but family too. I must admit, I find it slightly hard when you're the host as you have to say hi and catch up with an array of people; I'm always left feeling like I didn't get to spend enough time with everyone. My birthday was no different - maybe I was just too drunk. I hope everyone had fun though.

It was the first time in about eleven years that my big sister was here for my Birthday! To wake up with her in the house, singing happy birthday as we did when we were kids, was so great. It was awesome to have her at my drinks and mingle with my friends, some of whom she hadn't had the chance to meet. Too busy being an international success.

My partner's friends from the Sunshine Coast came too which was so appreciated! Don't get me wrong, they are my friends also but I wouldn't have met such great couples and friends if it weren't through him.

I invited my Thai trainers, who came ready to swim! Unlike EVERYONE else aha. I feel very lucky to have made genuine friends out of my trainers. Despite the language barrier, cultural differences and age, there is a great relationship there and something I really appreciate having the opportunity of - creating bonds with people from all places.

I hired the rooftop of Limes Hotel, which comes with two plunge pools and a private bar/ bartender. Even though Rock and I were the only ones who got use out of the plunge pools, it was a great venue and one I cannot recommend highly enough! The bartender Oliver was incredible! Such a legend! The catering was even more so. So much food... delicious, delicious food.

I managed to keep a lid on it as much as possible, but pulled an old smoke bomb when the old ball and chain tried to move things to the Casino. I knew I was done, and was slowly slipping down the slope into embarrassing myself, so I told them I needed to say good bye and would meet them there. I ran next door to my friends, embarrassed them before getting a lift home and passing out in bed. I woke up fresh as a daisy which was AMAZING! Mid day parties and early nights are where it's at! I must be getting wiser in my old age.

I won't bore anyone with details, instead post photos of what a great day it was. A big thank you to everyone for making me feel so special. Most photos are not suitable for the public. Apologies, haha.
